Over the past two years, I have had the privilege of working with school groups ranging from ages 7 to 18, and I can say with certainty that the experiences I’ve had with this special group of kids have been nothing short of transformative. DREAM Adaptive is a program that allows children with disabilities to experience activities that they otherwise might never have had the chance to try. From skiing to cycling, these activities provide not just physical growth but also emotional development, building confidence and joy in ways that can be hard to express in words.
To witness these kids breaking barriers and celebrating their own growth and achievements firsthand has been incredibly moving. The look on their faces when they succeed, try something new, or simply have fun is a reminder of why this program is so important. I’ve learned so much from these kids, their resilience, and their enthusiasm for life, and I’m grateful to be part of this journey with them.
As you can imagine, programs like DREAM Adaptive rely heavily on community support to continue providing these life-changing experiences. That’s where you come in. If you’re able to contribute or support the program in any way, whether through a financial donation (I will be shredding at Shred Fest-your support would be so appreciated) or volunteering your time, it would be greatly appreciated. Your generosity helps ensure that more kids get the chance to experience the same joy and growth that I’ve been privileged to witness.
Thank you for taking the time to read about my experience with DREAM Adaptive. I am excited to continue my work with this incredible group, and I would be so grateful for any support you are able to offer.
If you’d like to learn more about how you can get involved or contribute, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Together, we can make a lasting impact in the lives of these kids.
Please join me in supporting DREAM!
