SHRED the Love!
An all-abilities fundraiser & vertical challenge at Whitefish Mountain Resort.
THE CHALLENGE:
Fundraise in advance of the event to support DREAM and our empowering programs. Then, join us for a fun on-snow celebration and optional vertical or adventure challenges on March 22nd! You can chase after fun challenges, hike uphill, ski, or ride as many vertical feet as you can in one day, or just bring the stoke and celebrate the another empowering ski season with DREAM! Prizes will be handed out for most funds raised, challenges completed, and vertical feet shredded in multiple categories. Don’t forget your fun outfit or costume!
OVERVIEW:
- To attend you must raise at least $150 for DREAM ($200 if you need a day lift ticket) by March 22nd
- Use the DREAM fundraising platform to create a fundraising pageto share with your family, friends, colleagues, strangers, yetis… whoever will give!
- Create a team (of up to 5 people) for an even better chance to win sweet prizes!
- Hike, ski, or ride on March 22nd; vertical feet will be tallied, challenges won, & prizes awarded!
- Head back down to the Spruce Lot that afternoon to celebrate an awesome event and season!
What you RECEIVE on March 22nd
- A custom DREAM bandana to all those meeting the minimum fundraising amounts $150/$200
- A sweet DREAM Silipint reusable cup if you raise $380 or more (it’s our 38th year at WMR!)
- A event-custom rad DREAM hat if you raise $500 or more!
- A steezy pair of DREAM shades if you raise $850 or more(we were founded in 1985!)
- Breakfast burrito & coffee @ the DREAM Shack, prior to 10AM
- Access to a discounted lift ticket if needed. You must notify us by March 15th if you need a lift ticket.
- 9:00am-4:00pm vertical challenge, scavenger hunts, and contests for those interested, or just cruise with friends and Shred the Love!
- BURRITO BAR from The House of S&M for lunch
- Post-party with awards, libations, and music
- Snacks & stoke all day long to keep you shredding!
2025 – EVENT DETAILS:
OVERVIEW
The SHRED-FEST is a full day 9:00 am-4:00 pm vertical or adventure challenge for all abilities at Whitefish Mountain Resort. Prizes will be awarded for most funds raised, vertical feet shredded, or for completing the most challenges. The vert competition is to hike, ski, or ride as many vertical feet in one day as possible. Challenges could be anything from finding "Freddie the Yeti", to consuming a giant plate of Hellroaring nachos!
Bonus points if you wear a fun outfit or costume! This year we're throwing it back to the '80s in honor of DREAM's 40th birthday so break out your neon colors, and Shred the Love in your best '80's outfits!
This feel-good competition is to raise funds to support DREAM in our efforts to break down barriers to the outdoors for people with disabilities.
VERT DIVISIONS
Prizes awarded to top competitors in each Vert Category. Vertical feet will be tracked on scorecards using the honor system.
Divisions are inclusive of all abilities, sliding tools, and genders.
Uphill Division(vert challenge only)

Prizes awarded to top competitors in each Adventure Category. Adventure challenges will be tracked on scorecards using the honor system.

SPIRIT AWARD
The individual that most embodies the spirit of the SHRED-FEST will receive a special award at the closing party. This person will CELEBRATE our mission of making outdoor recreation accessible to everyone. Vertical feet or challenges won won’t help you too much in this category but showcasing your love and passion (think costumes, fundraising initiative, event-day spirit, etc.) for the DREAM mission will!
