Welcome to Shred Fest!
This year we invite "WILD THANGZ" of all ages and skill-levels to come Shred the Love on March 21st, 2026!
Adventure is better when everyone belongs.
Shred Fest celebrates freedom, fun, and breaking down barriers together.
Join the pack. Shred the love.
Every dollar raised supports empowering, adaptive outdoor recreation experiences for people with disabilities!
THE BASICS
Fundraise in advance to support DREAM, then join us on March 21st for a choose-your-own-adventure day on snow.
Enjoy fun, food, and friends all day long!
You can: hike uphill, ski/ride laps, chase adventure challenges, rack up vertical feet, or simply bring the stoke and celebrate the season.
Create a team of up to five wild-thangz for even more camaraderie on the slopes.
Prizes will be awarded for top fundraising, vertical feet shredded, challenges completed, and more.

EVENT REQUIREMENTS
$200 minimum fundraising effort to participate / $250 if you need a day lift ticket
Create a fundraising page using DREAM’s platform and share it with friends, family, coworkers, strangers, forest critters, or yetis.
The more you fundraise the more cool gear you receive and the bigger impact for our programs!
SHRED SWAG & FUNDRAISING INCENTIVES
$200/$250 – Event goodie bag, DREAM beanie & bandana
$390 – Custom DREAM goggle cover (celebrating 39 years at WMR!)
$700 – Event-exclusive Shred Fest hat
$1,000 – Custom DREAM YETI tumbler
🎟 Lift tickets available if needed - Notify us by March 14th / $250 minimum fundraising level required if a lift ticket is needed.

SHRED FEST DAY — SATURDAY, MARCH 21
Bring the stoke and shred the love for the best day on snow.
6:00 AM – Uphill challenge begins out of the Spruce Lot / up-hillers can start on a rolling basis throughout the day
8:00–10:00 AM – FREE breakfast at the DREAM Shack in Spruce Lot (pancakes, bacon & coffee)
9:00 AM–4:00 PM – Official start and time frame for lift-assist vertical challenges, adventure contests, or fun-filled shredding the gnar
Lunch – Burrito bar from The House of S&M in Spruce Lot
4:00 PM Post-party – Awards, libations, and music back at the Spruce Lot, celebrating an incredible event and season together
Snacks & stoke provided all day long!
WILD THANGZ — JOIN THE PACK
Costumes strongly encouraged!
This year we're getting in touch with our wild side and creating opportunities for everyone to be a WILD THANG!
We are all a part of the same wild-hearted crew. Let's come together with our zebra stripes, leopard print, animal ears, faux fur, tails and whiskers.
WILD THANGZ is a celebration of freedom, fun, and the unstoppable spirit of outdoor recreation.
PRIZES & COMPETITIONS
There are many ways to enjoy a fun-filled day on snow while supporting DREAM’s important mission.
Vertical and adventure challenges will be tracked on scorecards using the honor system.
Scorecards must be turned in to a DREAM staff member at the Spruce Lot by 4:00 PM sharp.
TOP FUNDRAISER Category
Prizes awarded to top three individual fundraisers, and top fundraising team.
UPHILL VERTICAL Category
Prizes awarded to top three individual competitors, regardless of age, in the Uphill Vert competition.
The uphill category can begin as early as 6:00AM from the Spruce Lot. Bring your gear and we will transport it up to the village station.
Division - All Ages
DOWNHILL VERTICAL Category
Prizes awarded to the top three individual competitors in each Vert division, and the top team in each Vert division. If a team has blended age divisions, it will be scored for the Adult Division.
Youth Downhill Division (14 & Under)

ADVENTURE CHALLENGE Category
Prizes awarded to top three individual competitors in each division, and the top team in each division. If a team has blended age divisions, it will be scored for the Adult Division.

SHRED SPIRIT AWARD
The individual that most embodies the spirit of the SHRED FEST will receive a special award at the closing party. This person will CELEBRATE our mission of making outdoor recreation accessible to everyone. Vertical feet or challenges won won’t help you too much in this category, but showcasing your love and passion for DREAM's mission will (think costumes, fundraising initiative, event-day spirit, etc.)!
